Hi I am Josephine Camilleri, a Certified Holistic & Functional Nutritionist, Emotional Mastery Coach, Metabolic Balance Partner, Menopause Specialist and GLP-1 Integrative Health Coach.
Welcome!
I'm Happy You're Here!
My work is rooted in a whole-body approach to nutrition and wellness that goes far beyond what's on the plate. I look at how metabolism, blood sugar, hormones and inflammation all impact one another - and how stress, movement, sleep and digestion shape the way the body responds.
This curiosity about the "why" behind the body's patterns, and a deeper awareness and appreciation for the connection between physical and mental wellbeing continue to guide everything I do. My goal with every client I work with is to help them find and understand the root cause of their symptoms so they can move beyond symptom management and work toward long term resolution - this is not only a key guiding principal of my practice - it is a passion of mine.
But my path here wasn't just academic- it was deeply personal. Like so many of you, I was juggling a demanding corporate career, family obligations and caring for my mom in my home as her dementia progressed. I thought I could handle all of it - no problem. Little did I know my body was silently breaking down.
Then my health journey became a roller coaster ride. My body started to “whisper” symptoms, and I didn’t listen....then it started yelling at me... and I had no choice but to listen. I was surviving not thriving in life as I began dealing with a bigger cascade of health challenges.
During my recovery, I became fascinated by the body's capacity to heal and the profound connection between our physical and mental wellbeing. That passion led me to pursue further education at one of North America's premier nutrition schools at the age of 57.
Trust me, I know how hard it can be to prioritize yourself and your health when life has so many demands on your time. But I also know it is the most important thing you can do, for yourself, and the ones you love.
Today, I am living my best life, and my passion is helping others to do the same by offering compassionate, relationship-based care that supports real transformation.
Life is short and our health is precious, so let me ask you this - if not now, when? When will it be the right time to put your health first?
